How do you fight the constant hunger?

What is hunger? And how does it relate to appetite?

First of all, appetite is defined as a desire, caused by nature, to satisfy a bodily need. So the question becomes, when are you consuming some type of food to satisfy a bodily need, as in for fuel, and when are you eating to satisfy an emotional or false sense of bodily need? If it is real hunger we are experiencing, then great, we combat it by giving the body its needs for the day, such as a shake or planned out variety meal. But what if it is just emotional hunger and what if, even worse, we give in to it and lose our willpower?

How Do You Spend Your Time Behind the Wheel?

As a society, we spend far too much time in our cars. And for most people that time is sadly wasted. Re-Invent yourself in order to make 2012 your best year ever! Focus on reading more, get books on CD, Download audiobooks to your iPod, iPhone, Blackberry, order a set of CDs from your favorite author or on your learning objective for 2012 and spend your drive time more wisely.

I have always listened to authors like Brian Tracy, Zig Ziglar, Jim Rohn but more recently from Darren Hardy since subscribing  to Success from Home Magazine. Whenever I had to drive to see my son the last few years I would grab enough CD’s to listen to on the way there and back. What Obstacles do you Face to Lose Weight?

Anyone that has at one point in time decided to try to go on a diet and lose weight knows that there  are so many obstacles that occur over and over to knock you off track in your quest to lose weight! It seems to be relentless and it is so hard to lose the weight, yet it seems so easy to gain it right back after all the hard work and exercise.

How do you avoid those obstacles? Of course we can all blame the Holiday Season! You can’t avoid it though. That seems to be the number #1 obstacle in knocking me off track! It has once again this year! My wife bakes all of this good food, cookies, candies & dessert which is great for the Children & Grandchildren but then the leftovers are left sitting here and I have no will power to avoid eating them!

Then, there are the Christmas & New Years Parties that seem to be constant since Thanksgiving! Again surrounded by great food & drinks with no will power to stop me from eating & drinking!

Are you tired, worn out at the end of the day?

What I have found out is that like most people we are very busy, stressed out to the max every day just from normal activity either at work, or from raising a family or both and are just worn out at the end of the day.

Before I joined the ViSalus Body by Vi 90 day Challenge in July I struggled to stay awake while watching the news or Jeopardy and found myself tired and worn out every day! Now, like most busy people I don’t always eat right but I always took a multi-vitamin, vitamin C & Fish oil daily so I could get the nutrition (so I thought) that I needed.
